"Men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth, a man attested to you by God with mighty works and wonders and signs that God did through him in your midst, as you yourselves know—this Jesus, delivered up according to the definite plan and foreknowledge of God, you crucified and killed by the hands of lawless men."
This is a mystery. We can only begin to explain how men freely fulfill the foreordained plan of God. God is outside of time and space and is not bound, as we are, to these elements. Lord, your thoughts are above my thoughts, and your ways are way, way about my own!

I just got into a discussion about this the other day with a friend in our Bible study. The fact is that God does foreordain whatsoever comes to pass, the question and unanswerable is how or why. We know the why is for His own glory but since we're humans when has that ever been enough? But by faith. Good post friend. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks. To try and place a God who is created time and space inside our rules of how things work always fails.
