When the Lord stretches out his hand, the helper will stumble, and he who is helped will fall, and they will all perish together."     Unfortunately, many of us often act like practical atheists.  We talk a good talk, but when it comes time to trust in God, we trust in man.  The American dream is the great humanistic victory in our unfortunate history.  We have believed in the good inside of man, ignoring the Bible, and reaping our just consequences.    ...

Let brotherly love continue. Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for thereby some have entertained angels unawares. Remember those who are in prison, as though in prison with them, and those who are mistreated, since you also are in the body. Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous.
